SYMMETRY REDEFINED

Throughout most of my life, I always had the urge to achieve symmetry in everything I did. I needed the sense of balance to preserve my peace of mind and silence the voices in my head. But all that changed when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After my mastectomy, I have had no choice but to tame the beast of compulsion. Thanks to the image that confronts me in the mirror everyday.

Now I am mastering the art of finding gratification in whatever comes my way. Symmetry can be subjective after all.

The city is abuzz with Dinagyang festivities today, but all we wanted was to find a quiet restaurant where we could eat lunch peacefully.


Bonding moments are hard to come by these days.
